 How to use the shop?

If you have an original partnumber, you can use this for searching. Every part listed has a TVR and/or Reliant partnumber. Typing the number in the search field should give you the correct part. If you give a name or description of the part you are after, you also get the wanted item. All the more easy are the pull-down menu's from both marques in the top menu-bar: moving your pointer over make, model and category gets you all the parts listed in that category. Your choice is easy then: click on the item, add it to your cart and follow remaining instructions. Behind every model you see the same line of category build-up. Easy, clear, fast. All the parts listed are available from stock and will be dispatched within 24 hours after payment is received.

“The Workshop” (alias for Scimitar & TVR Centre) has been dealing with these 2 car makes since 1982, so more than 40 years to date. The reason for combining these two makes has always been obvious : lots of common technique amongst them,  drawing customers seeking for expertise, knowhow, craftsmanship and last, but certainly not least: parts for Scimitars and TVRs.

As said: 40 + years of experience. Experience with cars, experience with the owners and their wishes. We have had customers from all over Europe, from Norway down to Greece, and from Ireland to Austria. We feel that it is now time to offer you this expertise and these parts in a way part of modern times: our webshop.

Over the years we have acquired a treasure of parts. Many of these are still readily available, lucky enough. But a considerable amount is not available anymore “from the shelf”. On the other hand it has been times’ merit that lots of parts have been subject of development. These improvements and modifications are also available from our stocks.

From many jobs we have kept records. From left hand drive conversions for instance, manuals have been made for those who want to tackle this job themselves. These manuals are now up for sale (translations take a bit longer to deliver) and we have tried to illustrate the text as much as possible with photo’s. The price of the manuals reflects the amount of work put into it, so not all manuals are equally priced.

Manuals differ quite a bit from the original factory ones, because 30 years of time have learnt that there are may ways to do a job.The manuals are to be found in the “Musthaves” area, where you also find PDF versions from partlists and workshop manuals that were factory supplied.

The currency used in this shop is Euro. Prices are corrected every month because of currency fluctuations.

We hope you enjoy our site and we thank you for your interest and purchases. We hope you will visit us again soon. Best regards, Geert van Hout.
